How Kelly’s family sold the last piece of her childhood – ABC News
KELLY: I’ve always felt a connection with this place, I’ve lived here my whole life.
I’ve had the privilege of being here every single day.
This is what I grew up on.
I can’t tell you how much I miss it.
And the kids are so proud to see it, the people here, the atmosphere, the way it’s built.
It’s such a unique place.
But I have to be careful about how I look at it.
It is a legacy, and I don’t want to take away from it, because I want to keep it a part of my life.
But it is so important to me, it’s so important, it is a part the story of the city, so it’s important that I’m doing what I can to make sure it’s preserved.
I want this place to continue to be a beacon for our city and our state, and so I want that to be protected.
But that doesn’t mean that we can’t have a discussion on it.
The fact is that I have never been in this place before.
I have lived here for my whole adult life, and it’s something I’ve looked forward to.
So I’m hoping that we’re able to make some progress, but at the same time, it will be something that I will keep my eye on.
